EITL has grown in leaps and bounds from the day we started the company over 10 years ago. The world has evolved and everything is available online in today’s day and age. You can log on to your computer and find whatever product in whatever price budget you have. We recognise this and specialise in our services for the particular product range we sell. We have always promoted certain brands we are comfortable with it. This has been established after years of trading with the same company and knowing their quality and support. Europa is owned by a Indian company called Ispat Technologies ltd, who have been established and selling Europeans products in India for the past 30 years. It is fair to say they have grown and seen development trends in India as the country went through its growth spurt and it is this knowledge and training they have brought to Europa for the East African Region. Similarly through this knowledge we know what to expect from our brands as they have also been traded with at ISPAT, and we deliver the same to the client.
A frequent problem with clients trying to source their own machines is a lack of knowledge on the detail of the product. Suppliers fly in from all over the globe trying to sell their products at “an apparent cheaper price” but never provide the exact after sales & service. They also end up supplying clients that don’t know what to expect on the technicalities of the products. For example, we import Jaso tower cranes from Spain. It is a great category A4 crane (best category in the world) and at a reasonable price but we get some clients who source their own cranes that may be slightly cheaper, but what ends up happening is the crane suppliers cheat on for example, the motor size or maybe don’t include the counterweights or the base anchor amongst many other variations….

This coupled with an aftersales team of over 12 engineers including mechanical and electrical engineers backed by a fleet of vehicles and motorbikes for all the senior engineers we deliver an excellent aftersales and service. We have a machine count of over 400 equipments from cutting and bending machines, poker vibrators to tower cranes & lifts.

Machine Optimisation
Many equipment arrive in Kenya to the end user with the client not knowing exactly how to use the machine optimally or efficiently. We are able to provide training days on this and handover to the operators so they can use their equipment better
Engine Diagnosis
Our mechanical engineers are skilled to diagnose mechanical problems with engines and through our sourcing channels we are able to order spares and repair and service engines for a wide variety of equipment
Installations
Europa’s service team not only install machines which we supply, but we are now able to install and service equipment that clients import directly and just need help here instead of flying in international engineers that cost euros 600 per day excluding their flights, accommodation and so on…. Having a locally competent team will cost you a fraction of that cost. We can install all equipment from tower cranes to lifts to dock levellers

From casting the bases and making sure the level is perfect, to pre setting up cranes and making sure everything is safely installed and dismantled. EITL have become leaders in this field. We also assist clients with different brands like zoomlion, potain and any others.

Certification
There has been quite a few accidents in Kenya of the last few decades including tower crane collapses, lift crashes and generally a basic lack of care towards safety. The introduction of the National Construction Authority has greatly improved this as they work on workshops and have categorised contractors and their safety standards. Europa can assist in overlooking site safety as well as providing the necessary government documentation for safe installation and legal certificates showing the machine is safe to use.
